The PJHL has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending Dec. 10.

Matthew Carniel, Forward, North Van Wolf Pack – A pair of three-point games during the week actually gave Carniel multi-point outings in four-straight games. The 6-foot native of Port Moody opened with two goals, including the OT winner, plus a helper and 1st Star in a 6-5 home win over White Rock. In a 3-1 win against visiting Grandview, Carniel scored the winner and assisted on the insurance marker on his way to a 2nd Star nod.

Max Fowle, Goaltender, Mission City Outlaws – Fowle earned a 1st Star nod for a 35-save performance in a 3-1 road win at Langley to begin his week. He was almost as good the next time out, making 29 saves on 31 shots as Mission City dropped a 3-1 decision to the Ridge Meadows FlamesΒ where he was named 2nd Star.

Peyton Dorman, Forward, Port Coquitlam Trailblazers – One of the younger players in the PJHL, the 2007-born Dorman has shown he belongs as he’s posted a half-a-point-per-game pace. In the week in question, the 6-foot Burnaby native assisted on Poco’s first goal, a power-play tally, in the second period on the way to a 3-2 Trailblazers win over Surrey. He helped Poco to another victory by scoring two of his team’s first three goals and taking 1st Star in a 5-4 overtime road win at Chilliwack.
